Our History

Elements® is a brand of Neopharm. Born as a result of our desire to introduce our most successful and popular products to the UK marketplace.

1996

Neopharm company was founded.

1996

Neopharm trades in medicinal products, substances and chemicals, both domestically and internationally.

2003

Neopharm starts manufacturing and launches its first product.

2004

Neopharm participates as a General Sponsor of the National Convention on Obstetrics and Gynecology.

2005

Bulgarian University Hospitals start first clinical studies with Neopharm's product.

2008

Bulgarian Urological Society and Bulgarian Nephrological Society publish official guides that recommend the use of Neorenal SR, the flagman of Neopharm's portfolio.

2012

Neopharm participates in the charity Initiative "300 Babies More" held at Bulgaria's largest University Obstetric Gynecology Hospital, by donating "Neopholic" folic acid.

2012

Neopharm launches Novarix, a new solution for support supplementation targeting structure/function of the vein. Along with well-studied ingredients, the formula includes collaged and elastin peptides, with benefits for the connective tissue structure.

2012

Neopharm opens a new production facility certified to ISO 22000:2005 and HACCP by TUV Rheinland.

2014

Neopharm begins development of probiotic strains. Today, more than 130 strains are isolated and 5 of them are in phase I clinical trial, with promising in vitro and in vivo results.

2014

Neopharm launches Neopholic meta, the second L-methylfolate formula in Europe made to support women before and during their pregnancy.

2016

Neopharm develops the first in the world D-mannose matrix for steady release technology, integrated in Cystostop SR, specially designed for women to support their UT Health.

2017

Resista Forte, known in the US as "Supreme Immunity", wins the Food Supplement of the Year Award from the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union.

2018

Neopharm receives a certificate for USA FDA Registration.

2018

Neopharm creates its international brand: Elements®. Elements® attends the ECRM® EPPS event in Phoenix, Arizona.

2020

Neopharm conducts the largest double blind, placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial among patients from three age groups with clinical diagnosis of acute respiratory viral infection. A year later, the results of the study are published in Folia medica, confirming the antiviral activity of Aviron Rapid, known also as Winter Rescue under the Elements® brand.
